Ready California Brings Disaster Preparedness to Communities Statewide

Working at the grassroots level to mobilize disaster preparedness and resilience statewide, each year Ready California hosts regional preparedness summits to build stronger, more connected communities.

This year, eight regional summits are being held throughout California, offering tangible resources, helpful insights, and a true sense of togetherness. The summits bring local leaders, community-based organizations, emergency management professionals, first responders, and other partners together to strengthen preparedness for disasters and emergencies.

The Ready California Preparedness Summits will visit the following cities:

  • Eureka: September 2
  • Lemoore: September 15
  • Santa Maria: September 17 (Programa en Español)
  • Long Beach: September 22
  • Ontario: September 23
  • San Diego: September 30
  • San Ramon: October 7
  • Sacramento: October 13

Through the 2026 summit series, Ready California is creating opportunities to learn from one another and continue building a stronger culture of preparedness.
